Thankful for God's Movement

Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, food, and fellowship. It is also a time for rejoicing in the saving power of Jesus Christ. I was a first hand witness to His awesome life-changing power the weekend of November 20-22 when I traveled to Granbury, Texas to preach a Disciple Now at Acton Baptist Church. The theme was Living Sacrifices.
I preached Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday morning. The Spirit was thick and moved in power as spiritually hungry adults and students filled the altar during the invitation times. As I challenged the students from Romans 12 on Friday, I was reminded of the ultimate sacrifice--Jesus who willingly died for us. Based on this act of sacrifice my response should daily be to live for Him who died for me!
Saturday Night I challenged the students to be agents of LIFE using the parable of The Woman at The Well. Hearts were convicted, pride was demolished and lives were changed!!!!! Sunday morning was amazing as I challenged the church to Change the World from Exodus 33 and 34. This power packed passage did what it was set out to do which is change lives. Once again the altar was full, Jesus was lifted up and Satan was defeated. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to see You move. Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through Jesus!!!!!!!!!
